Tailor-made rugby
Our French and New Zealand teams have transported together the biggest rugby “ball” in 5 containers. For the World Cup, the New Zealand tourism ministry (New Zealand being the country organising the competition in 2011) offers to the tourists and strollers the sight of a giant structure with a rugby ball shape at the foot of the Eiffel tower. The ball measuring 25 metres long, 15 meters large and 12 metres high will be exposed from the 5th to the 22nd of October. Our teams did not only deal with the transport of the ball but also obtained the authorizations from the French authorities to organize the moves and set up the unloading. At the end of the World Cup, the structure will be dismantled by SDV before being sent towards London where it will then be exhibited.
